本光碟為微軟官方教材,初見微軟WINDOWS 7
以下為WINDOWS 7之簡介
微軟在今天稍早發表了 Windows 7（雖然到現在應該沒人不知道它的存在了吧 XD），
並且在 PDC 上做了新功能的詳細 demo。大部份的改變看起來都在外面那層皮上，但
和 Vista 只是換個顏色而相比，Windows 7 似乎有更多「實質」上的變更。
最大的改變，就是這個從 Windows95 時代沿用至今的工具列了。Windows 7 裡面所
有的應用程式都不再有文字說明，只剩下一個代表的圖案，而且同一個程式的不同視
窗是自動群組在一起的 -- 滑鼠移到代表的 icon 上時會出現像上圖那樣的縮圖選單
，再點一下才會打開那個視窗。
在任何一個代表程式的 icon 上按右鍵，就會出現一個顯示相關選項的選單，微軟稱
為「Jump List」。這比現在只有「還原」、「最大化」、「最小化」的那個選單要
方便多了。
Desktop Gadgets 直接放在桌面上（捨棄了右方的 Sidebar）。總覺得轉了一大圈，
Active Desktop 又回來了？
右下方的系統列（System tray）也改良了。現在所有的 icon 都是預設隱藏，只有你
設定讓它出現的 icon 才會出現。從上圖看來，連無線網路也變方便了 :p。
「偷窺」也是一個新增加的功能。當你把滑鼠移到工具列的一個程式上時，其他的視
窗都會變成透明的，讓你可以看到（但不操作）該視窗。當然也可以移到代表桌面的
icon 上 -- 這樣就變成看桌面上的 Gadget 了。另外一個很有趣的功能，是半自動化
的視窗縮放。把視窗拖到螢幕最上方，視窗就會自動最大化；把已經最大化的視窗往
下拖一點，它就會自動還原；把視窗拖到左右邊緣，它就會自動變成 50% 寬度，方
便寬螢幕的使用者並排視窗。
Windows 7 還有一個新功能叫 Libraries，可以想像成依 metadata 建立的一堆虛擬
的資料夾。算是 WinFS 的輕便版吧？只是沒有背後的關連式資料庫。
其他的主要變更，還有多螢幕和投影機的設定、RDP（遠端桌面）現在也支援多螢幕
、Windows 7 將最高支援 256 顆 CPU、Media Player 介面變得像 Zune，以及最令
人討厭的，上市日期仍然不詳。
微軟做了兩個 Demo，一個是在一臺 HP TouchSmart PC 上示範多點觸控，一個是在
一臺不知名的 Netbook 上示範「Windows 7 也是可以在 Netbook 上跑的」。有趣的
是，那臺不知名的 Netbook 是 1GHz 的。考慮到 Atom 都是 1.6GHz 的，難道那臺
是 Nano？真是令人好奇啊...
