Pano2VR6.0bringsmajorupdatestotheTourMap,AnimationEditorandViewer.Youcannowaddfloorplanstoyourprojectandcorrectlygeolocateindoornodes,controlandanimateskinelementswiththeAnimationEditor,andviewandinteractwith360videointheViewer.
TourMap
TheTourMapreceived,perhaps,thebiggestupdate.ItcannowbetterassistingeneraltourbuildingandwithGoogleStreetViewtourswiththeadditionofbeingabletoaddcustomfloorplans.

Floorplans,aremapsoftheinteriorofbuildingswhereitisalsolikelythatlocationdatahasnotbeenrecordedduringashoot.So,weaddedtheabilitytogeolocatethefloorplantothetourmapsothatwhenatournodeisaddedtothefloorplan,itwillbegivenlocationdata.ThisisespeciallyhelpfulforthosebuildingtoursforGoogleStreetViewandneedaccurateplacementofnodesinsideofbuildings.FloorplansthathavebeenaddedtotheTourMaps,canalsobeusedintheSkinEditorusingtheMapelement.Inadditiontothefloorplans,mappinscannowbemovedinbulk.

AnimationEditor
TheAnimationEditorisnowapanelandit,too,ismorepowerful.Youcannowconnectskinelementstotheanimation.Thisletsyouapply,forexample,subtitlesortextboxesthatcanappearanddisappearatadefinedtimeintheanimation.

Previously,theanimationeditoronlyhadtheabilitytocreateasingleseriesofclips.Now,wecancreatesequences,whichareagroupofclips,inthesameproject.Wecanthen,selectaspecificsequencetooutputasananimationorasautorotation.Thismakesitmucheasiertocreatemultipleversionsofananimationwithouthavingtocreatemultipleprojects.

SkinEditor
TheSkinEditorgotnewfeatures,too.ThemostnotablefeaturewouldbethechangesmadetotheMapselement.Thisishowyouwouldaddamaporfloorplanoverlaytoyourproject.Previously,onlyamapcouldbeaddedtothemapelement.

We’vealsoaddedawaytochangeskinswithouthavingtoopentheSkinEditor-makingiteasiertoadaptaskintothecurrentprojectusingtheEditSkinConfigurationbutton.Finally,positioningintheSkinEditorhasbeencompletelyreworkedtobetterreflectthewaypositioningworksinHTML5.Thismeansthatwhenyouopenolderskins,youmayfindthatthepositioningmeasurementshavechanged.Don’tworry,it’snotbroken;just,thenumbershavechanged.

Viewer
TheViewerhasbeenupdatedtobeabletoplayback360ºvideo,makingitmucheasiertoworkwiththemedium.OncethepanoramicvideohasbeenaddedtotheViewerorTourBrowser,atransportcontrolwillappearintheViewer.
