JPG Compress是Mac系統上一款圖片壓縮工具，能夠壓縮jpeg、jpg和png格式的圖片。
JPG Compress能夠將Png格式圖片壓縮到更小的體積而不會丟失任何信息，jpg格式的壓縮有兩種優化方法，有損以及無損，質量設置會降低使用更高質量設置保存的源文件的質量。此選項不影響PNG壓縮。
JPG Compress is used to compress jpeg files. Program supports lossless optimization, which is based on optimizing the Huffman tables. And so called "lossy" optimization where in addition to optimizing Huffman tables user can specify upper limit for JPG quality.
The quality setting will reduce quality of those source files that were saved using higher quality setting. While files that already have lower quality setting will be compressed using the lossless optimization method.
