新版本讓您能用任何編碼當打開，重載，或保存沒有在定義編碼對話框中定義編碼的文件。在編碼下拉列表框或重新加載菜單中選擇 “更多…” 會顯示額外的編碼。編碼的初始列表可以在定義編碼對話框中的編碼列表中自定義。
如果在 Windows 10 中使用暗模式，EmEditor 也將使用深色。當您在 Windows 設置的個性化下的顏色標籤中選擇暗模式時，EmEditor 會深色顯示查找/篩選工具欄上的自定義分欄和下拉列表框，以及在對話框中的文本框和列表框。一些顏色可以在自定義對話框的查看頁面上進一步定義。 在配置屬性的顯示頁面上選擇 MinimalZen 時，編輯器視圖顏色會變為深色。
