當我們使用瀏覽器拜訪網站時都會儲存Cookie資訊在電腦，可能是我們登入網站的記錄或購買商品的記錄等等資訊。這些儲存在電腦中的Cookie雖然都可以自己從瀏覽器中移除，或使用清理軟體等方式來清除，不過這次要介紹的Privatus則提供了另外一種清除的方式，讓我們多了一項更方便的選擇。
使用的方式很簡單，需要先關閉瀏覽器，等Privatus for Mac設置完成後才開啟瀏覽器，往後再關閉瀏覽器時便會自動清除。
當我們開啟Privatus for Mac時會看見介面中有啟動開關鈕和三個選項，只要將開關鈕調成ON啟動就完成Privatus for Mac的設置，往後開啟再關閉瀏覽器時，Privatus for Mac便會自動清除Cookie。
